<p class="Paragraph">The Object bar allows you to select a specific table of the bibliography database, to search for contents and apply filters.</p>

<p class="Head2"><help:help-id value="HID_GRID_TRAVEL_NEW" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>Inserting a New Record</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="hide" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click on this button if you want to create a new record.</help:help-text>Click the button containing the asterisk (*) located in Record Bar (at the bottom of the Table view). A new empty line will be created and shown in the table, the input cursor will be positioned in the first data field.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-id value="HID_BIB_AUTHORITYTYPE_POS" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click in the form on the lower part of the window and go to the list box <span class="T1">Type</span>. Select the required type of bibliographic reference there.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-id value="HID_BIB_IDENTIFIER_POS" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Enter the classification in the first field that should appear as a reference in your text document.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-id value="HID_BIB_AUTHOR_POS" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/><help:help-id value="HID_BIB_TITLE_POS" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/><help:help-id value="HID_BIB_YEAR_POS" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Enter the additional data for the new record in the form. The content of a data field is automatically saved as long as you set the cursor in another data field of the same record.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Head2">Filtering and Finding Records</p>
<p class="Paragraph">The text field <span class="T1">Search key</span> and the filter icons are used to look for contents in the tables.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Enter a search term into the text field. All records that exactly coincide at the beginning with the searched term will be found. If you want to use placeholders to denote any character, use the SQL placeholders or the general placeholder % or * for any amount of characters and _ or ? for exactly one character. A % is automatically inserted after the search term.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click a little longer on the <span class="T1">AutoFilter</span> icon. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>A submenu with the name of all data fields then opens. Exactly one data field name has one marking. Select the name of the data field where you want to do the search.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph">The table will immediately show only those records corresponding to the search condition.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Use the <span class="T1">Standard Filter</span> icon to call up the <span class="T1">Filter</span> dialog which is used to filter the data through a combination of several criteria.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">The <span class="T1">Remove Filter</span> icon resets the view to "all records".</p>
<p class="Head2"><help:help-id value="SID_FM_DELETEROWS" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>Deleting a Record</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Click the row header of the record to be deleted. Open the context menu and select the <span class="T1">Delete Rows</span> command. <help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">The record will be deleted without a query being issued.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Head2">Select column arrangement and data source</p>
<p class="Paragraph">The object bar contains the following additional buttons:</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Opens the <span class="T1">Select Data Source</span> dialog, in which you can select the data source used for the Bibliography Database.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-id value="SID_ON_OPENDOC" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">All the data sources registered in <help:productname>%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> are displayed for you to choose from.</help:help-text></p>
